2021 INFINITI Q50 vs 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Serving Troy, MI

The 2021 INFINITI Q50 radiates both athleticism and sophistication from every inch of its sultry façade. As a luxury car, it is in the same auto group as the 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Notably, the Q50 has a more reasonable sales price. What are the other differences between the Q50 and the C-Class that could influence your model selection?

The appeal of the 2021 Q50 is immediately noticeable from your first glance at its styling. From front to rear, it has long, sleek angles with sophisticated curves and well-placed accent lines. On the nose, the chrome-outlined grille is flanked by two triangular LED headlights. These lights are topped by a dramatic LED light bar. The 2021 C-Class, on the other hand, has a relatively traditional look with modest definition on the hood and through the lower portion of the side doors. On the front, the lower fascia and the grille trend downward. The pointed headlights flow toward the grille, and these features combine to give the C-Class sedan a menacing look.

The differences between the 2021 INFINITI Q50 and the 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class continue across their cabins. Both models have the premium features that you expect from a luxury car. These include a multimedia system, leather material, a high-level sound system, a navigation system, and more. Their cabin designs, however, are strikingly different. The Q50’s center console and stack have true personality thanks to the dual, stacked display screens and the angled accent piece that connects the center console and stack. The C-Class’s interior is primarily defined by the three air vents that sit on top of the center stack and the single display screen that takes up a large area on the dashboard.

While you may assume that the more expensive C-Class sedan would have a superior engine, but this is not the case. The primary engine available for the 2021 Q50 is a 300-horsepower, V6, 3.0-liter machine. Rear-wheel drive and seven-speed automatic transmission are standard as well. The C-Class’s primary engine is a 255-horsepower, turbo I-4 powertrain. It comes with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
